After settling into your hotel, enjoy a relaxing evening as you prepare for the thrilling journey ahead. Depending on your arrival time, optional activities in Entebbe, such as a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria or a visit to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, may be arranged.

Travel north to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest national park, known for its stunning waterfalls and diverse wildlife. Begin your exploration with an early morning game drive, where you’ll encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, and various antelope species against the backdrop of sweeping savannahs.

On Day 3, experience a Nile River cruise, a safari highlight. As you journey upstream towards the powerful Murchison Falls, marvel at hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of bird species along the riverbanks. The boat stops near the base of the falls, allowing you to hike to the top for a spectacular view of the roaring falls.

Drive southwest to Kibale Forest National Park, often called the “Primate Capital of the World.” Home to 13 primate species, Kibale offers one of Africa’s most accessible and immersive chimpanzee tracking experiences. Begin your adventure with an early morning trek on Day 5, accompanied by experienced guides.

Venture south to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Head to Volcanoes National Park, a legendary destination where mountain gorillas and golden monkeys thrive. Begin your day with golden monkey tracking, a captivating experience that allows you to observe these lively and colorful primates in their natural bamboo forest habitat. The hike is easier than gorilla trekking and offers a unique perspective on Rwanda’s biodiversity.

Conclude your journey with a tour of Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to the resilience of the Rwandan people, and explore the city’s vibrant markets and craft centers.
